The clinic is based in The Netherlands and appointments can be scheduled following a formal medical referral from a general practitioner or medical specialist, in accordance with Dutch healthcare regulations. Due to the high number of personal medical questions received by email, and in order to comply with privacy legislation, professional standards, and proper medical record keeping, individual cases cannot be assessed and no personal medical advice can be provided via email without a formal consultation.

Tattoo related digital consultations are personally reviewed by Dr. S.A.S. van der Bent. In most cases, you will receive a detailed medical assessment within 48 hours, based on high quality photographs and a structured description of your symptoms. The response includes diagnostic considerations, treatment advice, and recommendations for follow up where appropriate.

Digital consultations are particularly suitable for international patients. In many cases, an initial assessment can be performed based on photographic documentation and additional medical information. However, some situations require in person examination or procedural treatment.

Digital consultations are private, self paid medical services and are generally not reimbursed through health insurance.
